          <title>Proposals Development Engineer</title>

          <description>Our client is seeking an experienced Proposal Development Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop proposals for the company&amp;#x2019;s customer/client base encompassing the following:
&amp;#x2022; Review the Client&amp;#x2019;s Request for Quotation (RFQ)
&amp;#x2022; Perform equipment selections including drivers and auxiliary systems
&amp;#x2022; Review and comment to the Customer&amp;#x2019;s Technical Specifications
&amp;#x2022; Prepare Buyout RFQs
&amp;#x2022; Review and verify Vendor quotations
&amp;#x2022; Coordinate the Cost Analysis and Prepare Pricing
&amp;#x2022; Establish the Payment Milestones, ensure alignment of sub-supplier payment terms
&amp;#x2022; Perform a Cash Flow Analysis on each opportunity being quoted
&amp;#x2022; Work with the Regional Coordination Group, Operation-based departments, shared services (e.g., Finance, Credit) and the Field Service organization, as required, in order to identify and quantify risks, develop mitigating actions to those risks, prepare the technical/execution risk assessment form
&amp;#x2022; Request input from the Project Development Manager or Opportunity Leader for the commercial risk assessment
&amp;#x2022; Coordinate Proposal Bill of Materials &amp; System Drawings
&amp;#x2022; Coordinate the Project Schedule
&amp;#x2022; Fully configure proposed solution(s) using the Corporate Product Configurator (CPC)
&amp;#x2022; Maintain the Siebel Opportunity Database - Technology Enabled Selling (TES).
&amp;#x2022; Assist the Project Development Managers in developing Technical and Commercial strategies for the successful implementation of the Order Capture Process on a project by project basis
&amp;#x2022; Participate in the development of quantified Value Propositions
&amp;#x2022; Insure that the Technical and Commercial proposals in response to client inquiries meet the company&amp;#x2019;s standards for quality, completeness and timeliness
&amp;#x2022; Coordinate and participate in client clarification meetings and discussions
&amp;#x2022; Understand the client&amp;#x2019;s applications and processes
&amp;#x2022; Understand the competition&amp;#x2019;s products &amp; offerings
&amp;#x2022; Prepare and submit in a timely manner the Imminent Order Notification and the Order Entry packages to the manufacturing Operation
&amp;#x2022; Participate in internal kick-off meetings and client kick-off meetings
&amp;#x2022; Support the Proposal Development Manager with project or product presentations
&amp;#x2022; Conducts business affairs with the highest standards of ethics and integrity
&amp;#x2022; Adheres to the Company&amp;#x2019;s Code of Conduct and other Company policies

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:
&amp;#x2022; Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited higher education institution or equivalent work experience
&amp;#x2022; Between 5 and 10 years of related engineering work experience
&amp;#x2022; Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
&amp;#x2022; Global awareness 
&amp;#x2022; Communication skills, both written and verbal
&amp;#x2022; Customer service orientation
&amp;#x2022; Interpersonal skills enabling productive relationships with peers, superiors and others where formal reporting lines do not exist
&amp;#x2022; Multi-language skills &amp; International experience a plus

Travel
